Right of Withdrawal, Returns, and Non-Conforming Products
Effective date: 19 June 2026 This page governs the right of withdrawal, the return of products, and the handling of incorrect, damaged, or non-conforming products purchased on Parmakit.
Parmakit is the trade name of Parmakit s.r.l., with registered office at Strada Antolini 18/C, 43044 Lemignano di Collecchio (PR), Italy.
1. Scope
The provisions on the right of withdrawal apply to purchases made by consumers, i.e. natural persons who purchase for purposes unrelated to their business, commercial, craft, or professional activity, in the cases provided for by the mandatory legislation applicable to the contract.
Purchases made by companies, workshops, professionals, teams, resellers, distributors, or customers buying for commercial or professional purposes do not benefit from the statutory right of withdrawal granted to consumers.
For B2B purchases, any request for cancellation, return, or product exchange is assessed solely subject to written authorization by Parmakit and does not constitute an automatic right.
For deliveries made outside the European Union, Parmakit does not grant any additional commercial return right beyond any mandatory rights provided for by the legislation applicable to the contract.
2. Right of withdrawal for consumer customers
The consumer may withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days from the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the products.
In the case of an order consisting of multiple products delivered separately, the period runs from the day on which the last product is received.

In the alternative, the consumer may send an explicit and unequivocal statement by e-mail to info@parmakit.com or through Parmakit’s official WhatsApp service. The communication must include at least the first and last name, the order number, or other data suitable for identifying the purchase and the products subject to withdrawal. The automatic confirmation sent after using the online function attests solely to the receipt of the withdrawal statement. It does not constitute prior confirmation of the refund amount or of the eligibility of the returned products.
3. Return of products
After communicating the withdrawal, the consumer must return the products without undue delay and in any case within 14 days from the date of the withdrawal communication. Products must be returned to the following address: Parmakit s.r.l.

43044 Lemignano di Collecchio (PR), Italy The direct cost of the return is borne by the customer, except where Parmakit has shipped an incorrect item, an item damaged on delivery, or an item not conforming to the contract. The customer must arrange the return shipment independently and bear its cost. Parcels sent cash on delivery, with shipping charges billed to the recipient, or sent to an address other than the one indicated above are not accepted. The customer is responsible for packaging the product during the return shipment. Should the product be returned without accessories, adapters, fasteners, manuals, packaging, or other items received with the order, Parmakit will assess the actual decrease in the value of the goods. For returns from non-EU countries, the customer must correctly complete the customs documentation, indicating that the goods are returned goods. Any duties, customs costs, clearance costs, or other charges caused by an incorrect customs declaration may be deducted from any refund, within the limits allowed by applicable law.
4. Condition of returned products
The customer may inspect the product to the extent necessary to verify its nature, characteristics, and functioning, as they would be able to do in a physical store. Opening the outer packaging does not automatically result in the loss of the right of withdrawal. The customer is, however, liable for any decrease in the value of the goods resulting from handling other than that necessary for such verification. Upon receipt of the return, Parmakit verifies the actual condition of the product. The refund may be reduced based on the decrease in value actually found, down to a residual value of zero where the product no longer has commercial value or is no longer resalable. A reduction of the refund may apply, by way of example, when the product:
has been fitted or used on the road, on the track, or during workshop activities;
shows signs of installation, scratches, residues, dirt, grease, fuel, oil, fluids, threadlocker, silicone, or other substances;
has been filled, emptied, mixed, contaminated, or used, as in the case of lubricants, fluids, chemical products, and consumables;
has been installed or used, as in the case of brake pads, clutch discs, filters, gaskets, chains, sprockets, crown wheels, engine components, or other items subject to wear;
has been configured, programmed, updated, paired with a vehicle, connected to an ECU, or activated via software;
has been damaged during the return due to insufficient packaging;
is returned without components, accessories, documentation, adapters, fasteners, packaging, or other items necessary for resale.
Electronic components are not automatically excluded from the right of withdrawal merely because they are electronic. However, installation, activation, configuration, programming, vehicle pairing, software updating, or use of the product may result in a decrease in value down to a residual value of zero.
5. Products excluded from the right of withdrawal
In the cases provided for by applicable law, the right of withdrawal does not apply, among others, to the following products or services:
goods made to measure or clearly personalized on the basis of the customer’s individual specifications;
goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of hygiene or health protection, if opened after delivery, where such exclusion is applicable to the product;
goods which, after delivery, are by their nature inseparably mixed with other goods;
sealed computer software opened after delivery;
digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, where supply has begun with the customer’s prior express consent, with acknowledgment of the loss of the right of withdrawal, and with the contractual confirmation required by applicable law having been provided.
6. ECU maps, credits, coupons, software, and digital activations
ECU maps, credits, digital coupons, software licenses, downloads, activations, configurations, and digital services are non-refundable after the relevant supply has begun, where the customer has given the required consent to the early commencement of performance and has acknowledged the loss of the right of withdrawal relating to the digital content. The redemption or use of a map, credit, coupon, license, or digital service excludes a refund of the relevant digital component already used. Should a physical device connected to digital content or a digital service be returned, Parmakit will assess its actual condition. Any vehicle pairing, configuration, programming, activation, or loss of commercial value may result in a reduction of the refund down to a residual value of zero.
7. Bundles, kits, and partial returns
The customer may exercise the right of withdrawal also for one or more components of a bundle or kit, where the returned product is subject to the right of withdrawal and meets the conditions set out on this page. In the case of a partial return of a promotional bundle or kit, the refundable amount of the individual component corresponds to the discounted value attributed to that component within the bundle and not to the sale price of the same product purchased individually. Any digital components already activated, credits used, coupons redeemed, or services already provided are not included in the refund, within the limits provided for by applicable law.
8. Out-of-catalogue items and special procurement
Requests for products not present in the Parmakit catalogue are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Parmakit may accept or reject such requests based on availability, product code, stated compatibility, procurement times, and supplier conditions. A quotation, an availability check, or a conversation via e-mail or WhatsApp does not automatically constitute acceptance of the order. An out-of-catalogue order is deemed accepted only after express written confirmation by Parmakit. Before confirming an out-of-catalogue item, the customer is required to carefully verify the code, quantity, compatibility, model, year, and configuration of the motorcycle. For B2B customers, items procured out of catalogue or ordered at the customer’s specific request cannot be cancelled or returned after acceptance of the order, except for an error attributable to Parmakit, a damaged product, or a non-conforming product. For consumer customers, any mandatory rights provided for by applicable law remain unaffected.
9. Refund
In the event of a valid exercise of the right of withdrawal by a consumer customer, Parmakit refunds all payments received for the returned products, including the costs of the initial delivery in the cases provided for by applicable law. Parmakit may withhold the refund until the goods are received or until proof of the return shipment has been received, whichever occurs first. The refund is made using the same means of payment used by the customer for the purchase, unless otherwise expressly agreed. The direct costs incurred by the customer for the return are not refunded, except in the case of an incorrect product, a product damaged on delivery, or a product not conforming to the contract due to causes attributable to Parmakit or to the transport arranged by Parmakit. Any reductions for decrease in value are applied only after verification of the condition of the returned products.
10. Incorrect, damaged, or non-conforming products
The right of withdrawal is distinct from the legal guarantee of conformity and from the handling of incorrect, damaged, or non-conforming products. At the time of delivery, the customer must check the number and the external integrity of the parcels received. In the event of damaged, tampered-with, or visibly irregular parcels, the customer must immediately dispute the delivery with the courier and sign with reservation, specifying the irregularity found. After delivery, any discrepancies relating to quantity, quality, damage, or the product received must be communicated in writing to Parmakit within 7 days, attaching clear photographs of the product, the outer packaging, the inner packaging, and any damage. Where the error, damage, or non-conformity is attributable to Parmakit or to the transport arranged by Parmakit, the costs necessary for the return, replacement, or handling of the case are borne by Parmakit. Incorrect, damaged, or non-conforming products must not be sent cash on delivery. In any case, the mandatory rights granted to the consumer by applicable law remain unaffected.
11. Refused, uncollected, or held parcels
Refusal of delivery, failure to collect a shipment, or storage do not automatically constitute the exercise of the right of withdrawal. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must submit an explicit statement within the prescribed period. Where no valid withdrawal statement has been submitted, any actual costs caused by an incorrect address, failure to collect, unjustified refusal, storage, re-shipment, or return of the shipment may be charged to the customer within the limits allowed by applicable law. Where the consumer customer has validly exercised the right of withdrawal, the rules set out on this page and the applicable mandatory legislation apply.
