CYLINDER RE-NICKELING SERVICE
With the cylinder restoration service, Parmakit makes worn cylinders like new and fully functional, even in cases of severe seizure.
Our production department handles restoration work on aluminum cylinder liners that have been damaged during use.
Initially, the original coating is removed and the condition of the liner is checked. In some cases, it is necessary to fill aluminum gaps through welding. Subsequently, the cylinder is stripped and prepared for the Nickeling process, followed by finishing the liner using honing machines with diamond stone tools. If the cylinder has an exhaust bridge, we take care of lowering it correctly so that it is ready for use.
The cylinder returns to a condition similar to the original, allowing for the installation of the original or replacement piston. We can directly supply the piston, offering a choice among various brands such as VERTEX – ASSO – WOSSNER.
At our facility, we have the machinery suitable for performing this type of work and highly specialized profiles capable of handling all phases of cylinder restoration.
